Chiar si cu toate caracteristicile sale de imbunatatire a productivitatii, acest ThinkPad a fost proiectat cu gandul la reciclare. Am folosit continut reciclat post-consumator (PCC) in diverse componente, inclusiv 90% in carcasa difuzorului, 90% in compartimentul bateriei si 90% in adaptorul de alimentare. Capacele tastelor utilizeaza 70-80% plastic reciclat PCC, in timp ce rama tastaturii se bazeaza pe 60% PCC. Capacul inferior foloseste 50% PCC, iar ecranul 50%. In plus, ambalajul este 100% fara plastic si este certificat de Forest Stewardship Council&

Am schimbat locatia tastelor Ctrl si Fn. Iar TrackPad-ul are acum 115 mm / 4,53ʺ. Iconicul nostru TrackPoint rosu va permite in continuare sa navigati - atingeti de doua ori pentru a deschide meniul personalizabil de setari rapide pentru a optimiza setarile audio-video (TPQM). Am imbunatatit, de asemenea, admisia de aer si ventilatia, rezultand un design termic care creste performanta.<
